Squad to Squad Comms

Question was brought up inside of another post so Im just gonna ask out here. If there is an Outfit and lets say it is comprised of 40 men split into 4 squads and 2 platoons can the two platoon commanders talk to eachother? And then switch channels and talk to squad leader who can switch chans again and talk to his squad itself. Also can the Platoon leader talk directly to the squadmen so that you can skipp the middle man in an emergancy (thinking about traitors or a death)

If they are all in the same outfit ... they can use outfit chat.
