"Maybe someone can clarify this for me....
The plot of this movie is: He turns huge and green, and breaks alot of stuff. That about right?" Close. That seems a bit too in depth really, shallow that up a bit, and throw in some star wars level acting, and you've got it .

I gotta go thumbs down for Hulk. It just doesnt spur any interest for me...then again, neither did Spiderman.
When I finally saw it, I still didnt "get into it". I see Hulk doing the same. /shrug

If the director and main actors are good and can truthly and interestly portray the inner struggle that is the Hulk than it will be good, otherwise yeah it's basicall Hulk mad, Hulk SMASH. |

I just got back from seeing it...
to say it I'm a HUGE comic book fan, got a little tingly at the Punisher teaser! so here's what I thought. This movie, was BORRING! with occasional momments of kewlness! Not to ruin anything... and this won't but the Fucking Frame thing is annoying as hell! Comic book movies do not have to look like comic books JAG-OFF... annoying, disruptive, crappy... poorly plotted, and what plot was there they didn't even bother going to the source material for. The only redeeming part was when the actual hulk was on screen. He looked like I would wish him to look, and ate up scenery, and near anything else around him! This movie suffered from 2 major problems... 1) Trying to tell too much story, I mean it starts before he's born, and the first 45 minutes couldn't drag more if they tried. 2) no cohesive bad guy. IT's daddy, no it's the army, no it's yourself, no it's the army again, no it's daddy. now go and poorly resolve that. So from a fan, and a big one at that... save your money, if you do want to go see it, see it first thing so the ticket is cheap. The other great thing is that there was a problem with the movie, causing us all to get free tickets to one worth seeing! PAX

I disagree about the comic book frame style, it's original and added a lot of effect. Aside form that the movie has nothing else distinct or largely interesting. It's an ok action movie but they barely scratched the surface of lots of side stories and the inner strugle that is Hulk was like 5% of the movie.
Story wise : 5/10 Action : 7/10 Digital effects : 7/10 Acting : 6/10 Overall : 6/10 |
