Jacking vehicles

I am an infiltrator and probably always will be, but unless I am in a squad I get almost no XP. I have jacked numerous AMS's and a few towers only to be satisfied with the fact that I stopped an enemy threat. I think you should get XP for jacking vehicles, especially AMS's. I mean really, you can't take on MAX units; killing random enemy soldiers takes a ton of time, considering that they aren't camping, and you really have to be at point blank at their back to stand a chance. And to anyone who has jacked AMS's that are spewing enemies knows that it is no easy task to get in close enough to do it. So what do you think, Jacking to earn XP or not?

jacking......off? dude, i'm be at br20 like the firs day i go PS.

Yea i agree. same with destroying vehicles, we should get xp.

And another thing, we should be able to drive the vehicles we jack, i mean if we got reaver and we jack a magrider, i want to be able to drive it, not only shoot it.

I don't agree....

The reason why you don't get xp for jacking or hacking into anything is because, if you're in a squad, the squad that got you into the base is going to be getting most of the XP for you. You piggybacked them into the base/tower and now it's your job to start the base hack.

If you aren't part of a squad, and all you do is jack ppl's vehicles from them, then you should get a certain token experience.

You don't need to kill people to get base capture exp -- which, by the way, is the main source of exp for most players. Very few people get the majority of the BR exp from kills.

You know what's fun. Take a vehicle to half health (need Advanced Targeting for this). Place 2 mines on the ground as close together as allowable, park over the mines, wait for enemy hacker to jack the vehicle. Pure gold pulled that one last night .

Here is the problem. I have a couple of characters, and I spend alot of my time freelancing because outside of a squad you get alot more XP for kills. The only problem is that my infiltrator always must have group to function. he simply doesn't get enough kills to stand on his own. I agree that hacking things helps your squad, and if your squad does good then you get more XP. In my opinion, I think this is the same way onm the other foot, A grunt gets a kill, he must share his XP, a hacker steals a vehicle, then he shares his XP. i don't think you should get XP for hacking terms becuase then I would just hack terms all day long. I do think you ought to get XP for stealing vehicles. Stealing a vehicle is at least as hard as killing one, so I think you should get XP. I'm fine the way it is though, just would like it better if I got XP.

I assume you mean empty vehicles...

NO, because that would just INCREASE the amount of idiots that insist on destroying a vehicle that you are standing at CLEARLY hacking.

The stories I could tell....Are people just that stupid? To start shooting their pounder MAXes, prowlers, decimators, everything at a vehicle that someone is hacking? (this hacker being a reinforced armor in plain view of those shooting)

Good god people are stupid....

Entirely agreed, and I'd venture to guess this is why you don't get XP for taking out vehicles.

People tend to destroy anything enemy-related without giving a second thought to why that friendly is standing next to the vehicle with his REK out.
