Is it possible to kill yourself w/ a pheonix?

I just had a random thought. Is it possible to turn a pheonix around in mid flight and blow yourself up? I havent used them outside of VR, so I wouldn't know. It would be quite a way to kill yourself, wouldn't it.

They dont turn fast enought tho you could just make it detonate the same second it launchedwould take a while but yea you could kill urself i suppose

I tried thatin VR. It detonates a few feet away and dosen't do anything.

Lol, there has to be a way. Mabey if you turned your mouse sensivity real high.....

No its impossible, the Phoenix doesn't turn tightly enough

They did a patch in beta that removed the ability for mouse sensitivity to adjust the turning radius of the phoenix. I assume that made it so no matter what sensitivity you used you'd get the same approximate effects, but I never changed the mouse sensitivity around while using the phoenix to be able to tell.

Talkign about the Phoenix, I t would be great if it showed a gauge, you know, telling you how long you got till you lsot control, because I am so close to hittign sumone then it just explodes...DOH!

Thank you! I knew there waas a way! It is not quit as glorfied as what I previously mentiopned, but at least this way works. I knew there had to be a way. lol

Standing directly against a wall and pulling the trigger seems to be pretty effective as well

Gauge would be nice, but counting out 8 seconds (the travel time) also works ok for me...
