2 crashes in 5-10 min. period

I just started up ps for the first time in a day or 2, so i get in game, got my mp3z playing in the background and a system resources tool, that tells you cpu usage etc. and the game dies. The hud is still there but the game environment (buildings, walls, people, that part of the screen) is just a blank white nothing.
that happened about 2 minutes into the game.

so then i ctrl_alt_del and close PS since it's dead. oh, and i couldn't move or anything, it was totally frozen along with the whiteness.

then i close the two programs that I had open that i usually don't have open when playing PS and fire it up again. the only processes running are ones i leave on 24/7 and have played hours of PS with them in the background.

So i get in game, get my enforcer, load a squadmate in the gun. drive from sanc to amerish and then when we leave the amerish warp bubble to be confronted by a boomer and a load of vanu infantry. so guess what happens, CTD. my game locks up as my gunner screams "DRIVE, DRIVE, DRIVE!" but i am frozen, so my vech is just stuck there d00med to die a horrible, purple death. i ctrl-alt-del and by the time i get to desktop, PS has closed itself. so 2 crashes in under 10 mins. anyone having this problem since today? or did i just get unlucky?

Yes I am too. I kinda got frustrated after release with the games stability so I decided to give SOE some time to work things out, however the game is less stable for me now than it ever was. If I can get off the sanc without some sort of crash that requires a reboot from me I'm thankful.
