Will the models be skinable?

Do you think they will be/should be? I'm planning on being a Vanu and I don't like how they look at all, so I was going to make a skin for them, but the question still stands, are they skinable?

No, the models wont be skinnable. This is a MMO game which means the devs have thousands of other people to consider. So even if there was some way to change the skin on your character, you'd be the only person seeing those changes because there is no way 2000+ other people should have to download your skin just because you dont like the way vanu look.

The simple answer is no, there is no need to flame for it.

Dave described it well in a recent dev update - I cant think of where it is right now. But very little will be customisable - they want a huge equal playing field. This definatly rules out skinnable characters.
