I've heard that they have sent out email's to those that have been chosen for beta already

Do you get a free copy of the game when you beta test? or do they make you buy it?

They haven't sent anything, Smokey said they would post on the official boards (and i'm sure he'll come post it here too ) when they do.

And why would they give you a free copy of the game when you beta test? Beta testing is only playing an early version of the game so they can't give you a full copy and once you finish the beta and it goes gold they won't give you a copy either. You'll have to buy it like the rest of us.
