Getting rid of server names

I participated in the Open Beta and, once I bought PS, I entered my code and CC# and started to play. I have characters on Emerald and Konried, yet I still see Beryl, Citrine, etc. Is there a way to get rid of these old server names?

go to C:\Program Files\Sony\PlanetSide, and open characters_username.txt

for example, mine says

Emerald,west45,1,0,ablpls-01

Werner,west45,2,0,amspls-01

Johari,west,2,0,sdkpls-02

Markov,west,0,1,sdkpls-01


just delete the old names and it should work (i'd suggest making a backup of the txt just in-case).

Woah, there were other server names?!? i wouldnt know becuase i didnt participate in beta....

Anyways, im guessing you already had the game installed from beta so i would just try reinstalling the game... if that doesnt worked then somethings b0rked

I was wondering too....Glad to knwo i can finally bring Auraxis Server off... although i still think they should change the server names to variations of Auraxis. Like Auraxis, Auraxis Prime, Auraxis II, etc.

The BETA names where cool, I really don't like the name "Werner" it sucks, we Europeans always get the crap....lol
