No vehicle Enter/Exit Animations?

I played planetside in beta, and had all the entering and exiting animations for vehicles. Now, when I exit or enter a vehicle, it brings me directly to what you'd normally see after the animation. Instead of just letting me do stuff though, it displays a one or so second "ready meter" where I can't move or shoot until it goes away. This is just annoying me and I'd like to know if there's any way to get my animations back. I'm running a p4 2.4 ghz with gf4 ti4400 and 384MB RDRAM(PC800). Graphics are on medium but there's no option to turn those animations on.

Also, how do you get those information boxes back that tell you that you've advanced a battlerank and what you can now do with your new abilities?

simple the game is too much because u have such lil amounts of ram DUh

That couldn't be it. I had the animations in beta, so it shouldn't matter.

yea but theres alot more peeps on server didnt u know that and they lag alot More isnt there someone who can make it dumbd down enuff so that hell understand Beta was godly retail sucks

Actually, according to the server list there was MORE players in beta than there are now in retail. I believe that too because the battles are no where near the size they were in beta.

Well what do you have your video in game settings at. The thing is, that if you have it to the "low" setting, its turns those animations and just comes up with a status bar, so it dosent have to load ecessive crap.

Just run at custom and adjust from there.
