Has the lasher been nerfed yet?

Hello,

I've been playing as a VS all the way back from the beta days. Only since they have fixed the lasher have I been killed by it from a TR or NC using one. VS has finally gotten a weapon that has earned the respect of the other empires. No longer do I feel the need to fill my locker with chainguns and jackhammers.

He's comparing the lasher to the JH, but seemed to have made a typo instead of typing lasher, typed JH instead.

I'm talking about me not liking the STYLE of weapons that an empire has, not it being the "flavor of the month" or not. I'll take a gimped weapon that suits my playing style any day over an overpowered weapon that just doesn't make that "connection". You probably don't know what I'm talking about though. I actually like the MCG's weapon design better than the lasher's, so I stop and loot TR's that I kill if I have time. I hate the lasher's slow moving orbs more than anything.

But I'm sticking with Vanu anyways, I'm already getting to a fairly high level and I've discovered an even more fun weapon to use depending on the situation - the bumper of my magrider! I like the guns too. At least I'll always have that (And DONT tell me they're going to nerf the Mag now )

Besides the minor error of saying JH when you meant Lasher, you are talking about reloading after 4 shots with the JH which just isn't necessary. Even if you didn't kill your enemy in 4 shots (which means you're doing it wrong) you wouldn't have to reload.

Bleh... I still eat Lasher users alive with it's current "overpowered" state. Hard to kill a surge-strafing 2 shot killer.

It's definitely not any good past low medium range,

Every lasher thread has this statement in it in regards to the Lasher. Every thread. And yet... when I'm on the wall of a base I see Lasher orbs heading my way from a distance where I need to zoom to see the shooter. When Im on one end of a courtyard, I get Lasher orbs headed my way from the other end. When Im at the backdoor of a base, all I ever see is lasher orbs heading towards the door.

What puzzles me is if so many Lasher uses claim it sucks a medium+ range then why do so many Lasher users use it at Medium+ range?

so after the nerf its still going to be better than the Jh at close range, still have the advanctage of hitting people behind cover with lash damage and still be better than the JH at medium range (lets face it the JH doesnt do anything other than short range)
