Don't ask what happened when a lone VS grunt logged in in the middle of'em...
Funny you should say that. A couple of hours ago, I was playing my NC/Markov toon, and we were moving across Cyssor. We had just had a hard fight at one of the towers right next to a bridge. So we had a bunch of Vangards and other vehicles there. We cap the tower and move to cross the bridge. But there is somewhat of a traffic jam right before you get on the bridge. And then we all see a TR Hart Pod drop right in the middle of that Jam. Haha, I couldn't help but laugh. I can just imagine his thoughts as he his pod is racing down and he's sees it falling right in the middle of all that. Poor guy. |

(Uttered loudly inside the drop pod of the TR soldier who was unlucky to have experience that)
"Zee goggles! Ze do noting!" (said TR soldier was deaf on the way down and couldn't hear the massive Vanguard attack on his lone position) Now that would have been a good "OWNED" pic.

The Vanu cowards fled before our might
I heard someone say that the Vanu CR5's broadcast a warning, even though the destination was only disclosed minutes before we moved out of the sanc. Well, I guess it only takes one tell from a traitor... After a while a few vanu arrived, and managed to delay us in the southwest... my outfit squad raced to orisha, where an infantry squad attacked us without succes. I guess they tried to counter the vanguards by sending a squad of reavers at us, after I died i switched to my Sparrow and blew 6 of them out of the sky. ownage |

I went along with my outfit on that, i'm the lightning in the screenshot. First bridge i had 20 Vans in front 20 behind and the one behind me started ramming me, blew me up half way across, was foc all i could do to stop him. Of cours ethen there's a lightning shel blocking 20 Vans from crossing a bridge, cue large green blobs underwater.
I think i killed two Vanu infantry in 45 minutes then my outfit left and went to hossin for a real fight against the TR zerg. Thing is we had let the VS know we were coming in huge force with Vans and still they didnt offer any resistance And the organisers were a bit stupid, better to do it on a continent already with a big fight, get everyone to recall, get Vans then storm though the WG and at least find a fight waiting for you. |

NC has done that on Cyssor twice the past week.
In both cases ... : Number one thing to do damage to us : Ourselves. Number two thing to do damage to us : An orbital strike from a VS who just snuck in, fired it, then left the kontinent again. Damn thing was, this happened both times and people *still* try to cram 15+ vangaurds into one CY ... Third position ... : Mines planted by enemy combat engineers who were no longer on the kontinent. And finally in fourth ... : Enemies! who decided there wasn't much exp in fighting this army, so they left. So ... : Watching all the vanguards getting ready was great. The attack was boring. |
