Damage and crashing with vehicles

Is there any type of phsical damage visible when you attack vehicles? Do they explode? Is the crashing physics good? If you smash one quad bike into another, will it look REALLY cool!?!?

but i read that Hamma flew a plane into a mountain and it stopped and slid down

I wonder if someone shoots a galaxy with an anti-vehicular rocket will it have terrible recoil and if so how bad?
