Dev = Developer

Nerf = To tone down the power of a weapon, so that it damages much like the old Nerf gun/bows. Nerf is a division of a Toy company. Nerf was the name that they gave to a set of toys that were made of foam rubber and plastic, such as guns, crossbows. and stuff.

Zerg = Yes, much like in Starcraft. It's the act of over running your opponent with shear numbers.

I don't think they will delete. They may close the thread, or they may not.

Uber : They uber'ed the fecking Lasher , My JackHammer is so Uber

to "buff" something up , make it more powerful/better. To be really good / powerful.

I think its taken from Buffy (uber-vamp).

No, Uber is German (?) Or maybe Austrian. And it means powerful, or godlike. Or something along those lines.

That's close enough.

ber - superior

That's just about as literal of a translation as there is. oh, and its german

Austrians speak german.

I know, my girlfriend is Austrian (perhaps i should have a asked her first... i just heard "uber" in buffy, and thought thats where it came from, had no idea it was german.)
