Beamer = loads of fun

I hadn't played a cloaker in awhile and so last night I thought I'd do so with the idea that I'd only use the Beamer as my main weapon. Oh man, was that some of the best fun I've had in awhile.
There were 3 TR who invaded Esamir and I was lucky enough to get to the first base ahead of them. I knew there was no way I could defend the base by myself and it was only a matter of time before they got the hack, but I made life miserable for them. I got 4 kills with the Beamer. Two of those were in Reinforced. I ambushed them with the base turrets and got 3 kills that way. I spawned AMSs and ran down all their defenses and squashed a few bodies. I jacked 2 Prowlers and a Harrasser. I'd alternate between taking the tower and hacking the base which kept them busy for a long time. I hid a AMS nearby so there was no worries about losing a spawn point.
The only low point was I lost mouse control at one point and had to reboot my computer and log back on. They had the base hacked by then with Pounders in the CC.
The best fun was taking pot shots at range with the Beamer and having them chase me. I had Surge so there was no worries of them actually catching me. We did circles all around that base. I didn't worry about actually retaking the base. I just spent my time harrasing them and making their life miserable. I can't wait until my Cloaker character has Combat Engineering. Going to have some nasty fun with that.
