Best server?

I new to the Planetside experience and wondered if anyone could tell me the best server?

From your experience :P

I bet I get a few replies saying none are better than the others but hey worth askin!

You should probably be asking best empire on which server.

To find that answer, go to the leaderboards on planetside.com and see that answer a bit more objectively.

Well... Emerald is by far the busiest, followed by Markov then Konried. I find Markov is nice because it's got action going at all times, but you rarely have to deal with pop-locks or ridiculous zergs. Werner and Johari are best left alone, and I've found Konried to be a bit short on action a lot of the times I've logged on there.

As for which team, it's not so much about which faction you choose as which outfit you join. There are lots of outfits out there and they range from glorified 12-year old chat rooms to highly organized war machines. Pick your faction based on what weapons sound cool to you, and play to at least battle rank 8 before deciding to flip empires so you have had a real chance to experiment with the weapons/vehicles.

Do like me and use them all. This way you can play all three empires and you'll never get bored with the same character and certs.

Konried! Johari is fun if you can deal with lower population, Werner is fun if you can deal with the crashiness.

If you like to play with the enitire server population, join Johari! I play NC and it seems to be going well...erm...PLEASE GOD JOIN JOHARI!! I NEED FRESH BLOOD!! I REFUSE TO SCREW ANOTHER VS TO KEEP THE POPULATION UP!! IM MY OWN FREAKIN GRANDMA ON THIS SERVER!!!

If there is a big battle on Johari, chances are everyone online is there...which is like...what? 40 people?

Jagd: Why is Werner best left alone?

I think werner has the second biggest number of players, but it is of course european, which means different prime-times and higher ping for you americans.

Other than that, Werner is a good server, even though TR and VS gang up on the NC all the time... the most popular conts are the NC's backyard, and it's usually where the biggest battles are, especially on Cyssor, where the NC often face both VS and TR at the same time

Markov is good, their is action 24/7 as their is alot of aussies playing on it and people from other countries aswell as the US. Also the asshole population on Markov is restricted to NC, so you only have to deal with them if you run them over repeatedly in your vanguard and shoot them in the back whenever you see them with your JH. Or if you play TR/VS and kill 1 of them.
