cs_ticket_changed

Log into PlanetSide. Connect to world and load in. Small window pops up that says cs_ticket_changed with 2 buttons, ok and cancel. Click on either ok or cancel and game shuts down. Any ideas?

Went to the live chat before posting this but it requires a download/install of a plug-in. I refuse to install ANYTHING of this sort. I try to keep my machines garbage-free to the best of my ability.

it goes into your temporary internet files... you can delete it later.. it's just a d/l of the java thing they use for the chat...it's not spyware of any kind

I actually gave in and spoke to a CSR. Only problem is that I keep getting disconnected. We start discussing things and the damm thing disconnects. It's very annoying.

It's good to know I'm not the only one who is getting this crap.

A temporary workaround is, ironically enough, to use /appeal to clear the window. It doesn't seem to have any detrimental effect to gameplay. I've posted on the subject on the OF Tech forums, but so far little response. Perhaps a few more voices to the choir would help.

I just want to know what it IS, though. cs_ticket?

I don't have a clue.
