ATV guys...

How do you like switchblade? Worth the cert for it alone?

Probably going to drop flail just because everybody and their mom has one, so I'm trying to decide between ATV or picking up the deliverer again.

Intresting Choice for a avtar....guess someone likes stargate here...but on to tthe switchblade...all i have to say in grunts beware...

Its ok, i got one, but the scythes go too slow, it takes forever for them to reach the target, so u hafta be a pretty good leader. For close grunts they work great, for far away grunts and vehs, not so good. Not to mention they have low armor and theyre ammo drains pretty fast if ur deployed.

Yeah, 2 certs is good, u get three vehs! Thats why i took it, because even if you dont got a veh module u still got vehs to use.

I like running people over in a cloaked Wraith, that alone is worth ATV.

the switchblade is real nice though, good for suppression fire and skirmishes.

It's actually 4 if you count the ANT. And you bring up a good point, versatility wether I have a veh module or not. My delemma is that I have no multiperson vehicles...

And yeah. Huge SG-1 fan here.

I didn't like it. Sucks against any vehicle. Pretty good against shot range grunts. Okay against MaX's. Don't expect to fight more than one MAX and live.

This may be a lil off topic but.....nothing is more satisfying then running over a VS in a Bassalisk/Wraith when they are hoof'n it, it makes me feel good inside

ATV is a great bargain, altho unless you have no other transport or are a reinforced grunt needing reinforced transport dont bother. For me it helps a ton because i can choose from mosq or keep my grunt loadouts and ride an atv.

ATV is cheap and it keeps you mobile. Nothing better than going x country at 80 mph to catch up to your squad / platoon. Also saves you relying on others for a lift. And you can keep your reinforced exo aswell, so you can jump staight into a fight atthe other end
