Bugs are likely caused by tiny mistakes but can apprear hundreds to thousands of places in the code. Fixing one bug iincreases the chances of introducing other problems as well. If the programmers ask for patch, they're going to want to fix as many probs as possible and make sure they work without breaking something else. Seeing a list like this shows they have been looking at and working on these problems - with or without the community sensationalizm. |

I don't know. We were told once the retention items and cc were out that they planned to do these kinds of patches. Some of these bugs go back to beta for pete's sake - you think they just started to look at this in the last week or so? I think this is something they planned anyway for around this time.
