HA tips:
If you use agile, use jump frequently while fighting. It may be hard to hit someone when your CoF is huge, but it is much harder to hit someone who has flown through the roof. Don't go anywhere unless surge is enabled, ever. Packet loss is your friend, warping is your lover. |

Lasher tips:
If you think your leading enough, you aren't. You always have to lead on a moving target at any range to maximize your hit probability. Learning the orb speed is very important. 5-15m is the kill zone. It is still relatively easy to lead, whilst remaining inside the highest lash damage range. Don't fire in bursts, hold the trigger down and kill the shit out of your target. Don't get into a spam mentality. It is very easy to start spamming when the orbs are so big and bright and glittery, but it doesn't yeild the best results. There is no such thing as a spam weapon except under special circumstances. Actually learn to aim, don't shoot unless you think you will hit (which you won't cause you haven't observed rule 1 ). Carry an AMP and a box of ammo or a few grenades. You will run out of ammo frequently mid fight, and it takes 4.5 seconds to reload, or 1 second to change weapons. Crouch and fire whenever possible. The orb speed combined with the large CoF when moving and firing makes hitting targets directly difficult and often a game of luck. Unless you are taking damage or you need to close the distance, don't move. Don't take a Lasher outside, use a Pulsar. Contrary to popular belief it can kill people and MAXs/Aircraft. I haven't downed a healthy Reaver with it, but I have won a few fights against shitty skeeter pilots and wasted quite a few damaged aircraft. If an enemy ducks behind a tree to avoid your fire, empty the rest of your clip, the first half to the side opposite the way s/he went around, then the last half of what you have left on the opposing side. This is 1 of the special spam cases. Lash damage is not splash damage, the orb doesn't need to make contact with anything to do it. As a matter of fact, the orb will most likely not do lash damage when it hits the ground or another object near your target. Lash damage is done when the orb goes passed an enemy, it does not lash anything in front of it. So if it hits the front enemy in a group of 3 who are rushing you in a corridor, it will not have lashed anyone. If it hits the last enemy, it will have lashed the first and second as it passed them. 470 Lasher rounds will not be used. Take medkits instead. I carry 4 boxs of "green lightning" ammo, 3 medkits, 4 grenades, REK, BANK, Lasher as my most commonly used loadout. Despite the fact it seems like your always reloading, the Lasher is actually quite ammo efficient. Don't spam into a fight, you will hit friendlies as much as enemys. After watching the orbs slowly travel into the back of another VS, you will learn this quickly. A neat trick is firing over the heads of friendlies in front of you to lash enemies in front of them, lash damage doesn't hit friendlies. This is particularly useful for stairways and other areas where you are elevated. That is all I can think of. My primary char is NC, so call me an idiot if you feel I am completely wrong about something. |

thanks everyone , i just got the cloaking suit yesterday its not easy. Until this i plan to get at least 3 guides up by then. Commanding (a book for formations) which will hopefully give people some insight on how to be a good comander ,and give some basic rules which commanders can expand upon. An aircraft guide. And thinking about a lightning or Heavy Assault guide

Nice work bio,
I like this whole series of threads, good stuff there from you and others. My limited experience with the infiltration suit has yielded the following tactics. I use the infiltration suit to strictly stalk the parameter of the battlefield looking for snipers, other cloakers, and targets of opportunity (like an engineer who gets out of his vehicle to repair hehe). I avoid enemy bases because of the confined areas and ease of detection there. My typical load out is as follows: Gear: Infiltration suit AMP + 3 Ammo boxes Medic gun Implants: Surge Darklight With this set up I have had great success flanking sniper positions and striking the rear of back door assault squads. The idea here is to keep moving and take the LONG way to your target. Approach from behind from a direction they are not expecting. Fire the AMP at point blank range and surge the hell outa dodge. Scouting and planning are key here. Know where they are, scout out any deployables, and have an escape route with cover planned. Kill and move, kill and move if you stay in one area you will die in that area choose your targets carefully One thing I like to do is if there is a battle between 2 bases, one held by your empire and the other the enemy. I move out and approach their base taking a long scenic route to one side. Then I follow their troop movements to your base. 99% of the enemy attackers will be all eyes on the enemy base and very rarely do they bother with checking the rear. They assume that they are covered in that direction and this provides you with your opportunity. Snipers and other infiltrators are the easiest kills. The snipers usually spaz out when they start getting amped and try zooming back to normal view before they move. Most die without even moving. Infiltrators are easy kills because they are so fragile. They die before they can react. One tip with a sniper though, some will react quickly to your attack be ready with surge and stay right on top of them while blasting away. Dont let them get any distance between away from you or your AMP becomes far less effective. Stick to them, kill, and MOVE OUT! A couple of nevers: NEVER stop to heal until you know you are in the clear. The enemy can hear you healing yourself and will find you. NEVER loot a downed avatar. You should be moving AWAY from your kill. If you need more supplies return to base. Looting will get you killed. If you take the If there is a doubt, then there is no doubt philosophy about your target decision making you will enjoy great success being a wilderness stalker infiltrator. Only attack when you know you can win! Your joy comes from getting lots of kills and watching at a safe distance as the enemy scours the area of your last kill. You just single handedly messed up their whole attack formation and have them chasing phantoms. Enjoy! BadAsh
