I'm a die hard Nvidia fan and I would suggest that you DO NOT buy any of the FX series except the 5700 Ultra....its the only one that is worth it. otherwise if you want a cheeper card either go ATI or a geforce 4 ti4xxx. The fx 5200 performs just over a geforce 2 mx and the fx 5600 performs just a smidgon better than the geforce 4 ti 4200. But in some cases the ti4200 did beat out the 5600.

Dont waste your money on a Geforce 4 Ti at this point. It is outdated technology on its way out the door. It isnt all about raw speed. Cards like the Geforce 4 Ti cant handle AA or AF and the best it can do is crappy Trillinear much less Pixel Shaders. The newest cards can handle DX9 optimizations that will be in all games within a year
