Bass isnt coming from your sound card. Its coming from your speakers.

And I think I may need to update my soundcard. For some reason my Hercules Gamesound MuseXL doesnt perform well with a voice com program and a game at the same time. It gets very scraggly and scratchy sounding.

I wish stupid-ass WinXP would allow me to use my Aureal Vortex II SQ 2500.

They've been superceeded by better stuff man :/ And if I was you I'd get the Logitech Z560s. They are almost as good as the klipsch 4.1s and like $130 :/

I have creative labs 4.1 I got at the same time I got my Audigy. They were on sale for $69 and I with the card on sale for $99 I figured I couldn't go wrong.
