This is really the only drawback that I think the game has. I can honestly see no logical reasoning for capping br/cr. The fact is, even if you had every single cert in the game, you can't use them all at once. Having more certs does not make you a more effective killer than someone with less certs (implants can though). If they really want to see an increase in use of the less-used vehicles, then they should increase br. And as more people get cr5, the more chaotic it gets. I think cr levels should go much higher, and the chat/global priveleges changed accordingly. The game is going to get boring for people who are br20/cr5 unless they add something else to attain.

All i know is that there will probably be special abilities for certain things (skeeter and reaver do barrel rolls, specail hacks, etc)

I'm with you on this. I would like to know that I could eventually learn to do anything, without having to make another character or wait 24 hours to swap certs. Not like you can cram every weapon and support tool into your armor and then go driving every vehicle at the same time. Just be nice to be able to earn the cert points to have more options. I know my play style and squad needs can change from day to day.

While I don't doubt that this is true, it is a little dumb. With 61 certs required to gain every cert combination, you would have to reach br58 go have every cert. Using the current BR advancement system, that would be almost unattainable. I don't see any harm in continuing br ranks.

Agreed... also as was already mentioned, having every cert does not make you a GOD unless you were somehow able to use all of them at once... A hacking, self repairing, liberator/mosquito/flail with all 10 implants active would be a GOD

So unless that's what SOE has in mind... no worries.

Do consider though, that fewer certs make people more reliant on their squad for teamwork. Also, higher BR is a short-term fix, unless it's really hard to reach the new cap.

Yeah, and if they give me more cert points, then maybe I'll actually find 2 or 3 free ones to get something useful to help out those low br guys. I'd actually be willing to get ground transport, ground support, etc. if they did this. I still can't see anything but good coming from raising the br level. But I do want it to be next-to-impossible to level up. I mean, br 20 wasn't even that hard. Make us work for it.

Hey, to each his own. I think everyone should get the certs that maximize their fun in the game, most importantly. If it's fun for you to drive your squad all over the map, then go for it. Personally, that bores the shit outta me. I'm a kill whore, and won't deny it, but it's fun for me. I like shooting stuff and blowing stuff up. But, I am an engineer, and am always looking for a MAX to repair, and always look for back-base gens that are blown, and go repair those. So I'm not 100% selfish, just about 99%
