hey vashthestamped its called an "insane wish list" yeah there might be lag but if there wasnt it would be cool to have. plus i know they will never add a flamthower in the game. thats why its a wish list.

Weather would be nice if it varied by the actual storm, ala:

Rain: Green level: No problems
Yellow level: Visibility dampened
Orange level: Visibility cut in half, open-top vehicles malfunction, radar over bases can relay false enemy locations.
Red level: Radar over bases taken out, severely low visibility, darkness (if true night is implemented), drawn weapons malfunction on a 1/10 shot basis, all open top vehicles are rendered useless if stationary for over 10 seconds.


Snow: Green level: No problems
Yellow level: Visibility cut in half
Orange level: Hail falls from the sky, doing random damage to soldiers left out in the open, visibility cut to 15% without the aid of headlights, darkness.
Red Level: Visibility rendered to "hand in front of your face" level (making battles a matter of stealth vs. radar tag), severe hail, any vehicle left stationary for more than a minute is rendered incapacitated.


Sand: Green level: No problems
Yellow level: Radar at facilities will blink on and off, cut visibility
Orange level: Sand slowly damages armor and eventually health, aircraft unusable, visibility at 25%
Red level: Sand devestates unsheilded infantry, visibility reduced to 15%, radar save motion sensors is totally gone.

lol, that would be cool, but red level storms would have to be rare, or people might get tired of huddling inside towers because the battle got called on account of rain.

Ok, that's it. I alluded to it before, now you get the blunt version. Sadly since you made the above post, Frag, this is going to seem to be mostly aimed at you but it's not intended to be.

Here is what Pork posted:

Tide made a comment about him never staying on topic. Guess what, Tide? His post was on topic. The title of the thread is "Insane Wish list". He posts something he'd like to see in the game (and personally I wouldn't mind much either) and he gets flamed for it. Makes a lot of fucking sense, huh? Wait, no it doesn't.

He then had a slight side conversation with Gunslanger and while it was off topic it's not any worse than I've seen many many other people do to a thread (COUGHSkeeqyandUltravioletCOUGH).

He then posts:

Now while, granted, it's not a good idea it's still something he'd like to see in game hence very relevant to a wishlist thread which, again in case anyone has forgotten, this is.

Then he posts

i wanna see tv a new reports of whats happenin featurin the marsman! [and] iw ant to be able to get outta my mag while the gunner is shootin without dyin

Now the first one, again, isn't a stellar idea but the second one (if that is indeed an issue, been a long time since I drove a Mag) would be something I assume he's not alone in wishing for.


Now I'll be the first to say, his posts are horrific as far as grammar go. I don't take issue with you calling him out on that because you're more than justified. Even though I try to give people who don't have English as their first language a little more slack I still can't find it to be a suitable excuse for the bad attempts at communicating he's demonstrated. I'd have been the first one to call him on it if it hadn't already been done so many times before.

I also know he has been horrible in other threads for posting seemingly random off topic posts that make absolutely no sense at all and if you want to call him out on that by all means go for it and I'll wholeheartedly approve and even cheer you on.

But for christ's sake do it in a thread where he does it.

Do you see how stupidly hypocritical it is to make an off topic post about someone calling him down about how he's always off topic in a thread where he actually stayed on topic? I mean, jesus people. What amazes me, Frag, is that you actually used an example where his comment was completely on topic. I'll agree with you it's a bad idea, but bad or not it's completely on topic for the conversation perhaps even more so than his origial post since the title is "Insane Wish List". I mean, you could have at least gone after the side conversation and then your flame would have had some semblance of credibility.

If you're going to try and flame people for doing stupid things don't flame them in places where your flame has absolutely no relevance, it makes you look like a fucking retard.

I do appologize. I know that this hasn't been a very nice post but the irrelevant off topic flames on Pork were uncalled for in this case. This is probably the result of a bigger trend that's been slowly bringing me to a boil for awhile now. The whole carrying of grudges by some people through thread after thread for certain members is begginning to try my nerves a little bit. Try find some new targets, preferably ones that can fight back. At least then maybe it would moderately entertaining.
