game problems

As of 02/06/04 planetside has begun to drop substantially in frame rates on my computer. It occured after the last patch loaded. I have been running smoothly for a couple weeks. My system is a P4 2.8; 512 mb RAM I was wondering if anyone else is having a problem. I disabled my firewall, anti virus software and even removed my background with no improvement. I know it's not a computer issue because I have a new Dell dimension 8300 with no new software added before the problem occured. I noticed the servers were down Friday morning, so i was wondering if a problem with the servers is affecting everyone.

Everyone got it man. Sometimes I can shoot a whole rklt clip at my feet and I wont die for 10 seconds.

Escape, V, Advanced Video Options, Animation Culling, ON

Animation Culling was FORCED to be on before this patch.
Now it's off by default

Turn it back ON and you should be fine.
