Vinly to MP3

I think this is possible with MMJB, but I'm not sure. Anyone know how to get vinyl down into MP3 without the use of microphones?

Get a cable, wang it from the stereo (headphone jack) to the mic/line in jack on the soundcard and record to whatever format you want.

Once you got the stuff down, I can remove all this hiss/crackles (Adobe Audition <3)

It may take a while, depending on when my girlfriend wants to bring over her vinyls to be made into MP3s. She doesn't have a record player than can do 7" and I do so I wait until she brings them. Thanks for the help Frag, you're a good man

I did a good few tapes to cd for my friends (it's russian ska-punk music, pretty cool)

I'll stick up a sample, obviously it's not CD quality, but I can clear it up alot
