Those who pwn at FPS on a PC have skill too. If you pwn, you have skill, regardless of what you are playing on. Simple. If, say, Halo PC players could play Xbox Halo players, and said player on an Xbox pwned, then yes, I'd say that said player has more skill than others. Personally, I love consoles much, much more than PC and I find it alot easier to play with a controller, for certain games, than on a M+K. Ex. I'd rather play FPS (Halo ) on consoles, but strategy games on PC. Used to think that RPG's were always better on PC's too, then I met FF games (as well as the upcoming Fable). But that's just me.

I say that because it's easier to move a cursor more accurately with a mouse than with a controller.
Though I suppose it is a matter of prefrence, and what we're used to. I wonder what would happen if you put Halo PC and xBox onto the same servers, who would own?

As for the whole console debate. I'm not going to say that console controllers are worse suited for FPS, because obviously some people prefer it that way. However, there is usually a reason there is assisted aiming built into most of those FPS games for the consoles, and unfortunately that has a tendancy to carry over to PC ports -- and even PC versions developed alongside the console versions. |

And how on earth would planetside expand on a fucking console! You couldnt get the storage needed or affordibly put in a fucking connetion for people do dl the fucking patches. PS is totally designed around the PC. And dont avoid the first question. Last edited by Ait'al; 2004-02-22 at 04:50 AM. |
