Which are the better GFX-card drivers?

The Omega drivers, or the DNA drivers?

I have no problem with the standard manufacturers drivers, but raging gerbil insists on the omegas, so it's all about preference I suppose. Also, it depends on what video card you have and what driver you are talking about. They all vary.

Try them both, see which one gives you better FPS, and you should be good to go.

Don't leave out the reference drivers though sometimes they can be just as good

Well, both Omega and DNA drivers are reference drivers stripped from everything unnecessary.

no they are tweaked, not striped, they contain everything that the Stock has + some somtimes. They change options in the registry and other things to make the card perform differently

Read This Omega Vs. DNA Article. Now I realize, these are Catalyst drivers being compared here, not Detonator, but as you can see in the article, it appears that Omega surpasses DNA. Also it was discovered that DNA actually plagurised (copied) Omega's work, so ethically, DNA is in the doghouse. I'd really suggest the Omega drivers, I've been using them for years. I've used them on my old GeForce 3 card, and I use them on my Radeon 9800 PRO. They are simply the best. Forget DNA, go with Omega.

Oh, and yeah, Rbstr is right. The drivers have just been tweaked with registry changes etc, not stripped.
