Where is the painted target when using thumper?

The thumper is my weapon of choice, but something in the weapons bio got my attention.




A standard grenade launcher, the Thumper can lob grenades up to medium range. It utilizes a special Arc Targeting System that 'paints' a small impact circle on the soldier�s HUD, representing roughly where the grenade will land.

I have never seen a "painted area" to help me with aiming, is this just a problem with my game, or does no one have the target cursor? Just wondering.

uhh i dont have it either but i got rid of SA last week

They probably just didn't add it. Kinda like they put OBO in the manuals and don't have it yet.

If they added this reticle - that tells you where the grenade will land, more people will be using the Thumper for longer range assaults.

If they dont add the reticule, people will spam using trial & error, since they have more ammo to piss away since the ammo patch.



Of course, they didnt. And no one uses a lethally efficient medium-long range weapon because they dont have a reticule.

I have hardly ever used the thumper, and I can still judge shots within about 2 meters. It's not that hard.

A Thumper with plasma nades is what you could call the old nc flamethrower. I haven't yet, and dont plan to, have SA. But thats mainly cause I dont want Reinforced Armor

Sorta nifty, but yeh, it has it's ups and downs.

Namely there are situations where it's VERY useful to have a buttload of grenades :P

Who needs a reticule? It's not hard to judge a distance with an arc weapon.

Yeah, it would be sweet though, becuase im not good at it at all. I recently got SA, but I dont like it that much, the Rocklet and Thumper isnt worth the Maelstorm tradeoff...who needs a Jackhammer when you got that thing. Waitin for BR20 so I can get HA again.
