StrokeIt. Not only is this program called StrokeIt, which is funny, but it's actually very useful. It allows you to draw letters on the screen with your mouse and then performs some action based on that. For example, you draw a W and it will open your web browser. You can make your own actions too, and it has different actions depending on what program you're currently using. So maybe W opens IE while you're in windows, but while you're in photoshop it opens a new file (don't ask me why you'd use W for that, but you could). It can also learn new symbols, so you don't even have to use letters if you don't want to. Oh yeah, and it's free.
Alcohol 120%. This is by far the best tool ever made for backing up your games. It can write and read every major CD image format. It can create mulitple virtual CD drives on your computer and mount image files too them. It beats deamon tools hands down.
