I think I made an idea of this, along the lines of weapon "hardpoints" to customize the actual vehicle, while limiting the weapons that could be placed on each vehicle based on weapon magnitude/empire.

Just to clarify... this isn't carte blanch to equip anything with the weapons you want. They're simply taking some of the existing chassis, giving it a different loadout, and changing it's role.

A lot of people had this idea, myself and apparently Obfrog included. Probably because it's a very good idea.

I'm not sure why people seem to think this is going to let them mount any weapon on any vehicle, I'm sure it's going to be rather limited in scope. So no, sorry, no Galaxys with 150mms or Vanguards with a flak cannon instead of a 20mm.

I ahd an idea like it to, many people have been pushing for this for a while now, and the devs are getting around to doing more content additons instead of jsut gameplay changes, i think this is the begining of alot of cool things

I'm very much happy about the fact that they're going to be adding new vehicle loadouts. More people will be driving vehicles, thus I will get more kills with my Lancer and Decimator.

In responce to the person who said Air is balanced....

I Agree, In the air is balanced perfectly.....we all have the same stuff, its impossible to break that balance as long as we all have the same stuff....

However, on the ground(particularly shooting up) it isn't quite as balanced....Just to point out a few (from the NC perspective) Strikers are insane AA, Flails are insane AA, VS aa MAX is apperantly the best at doing its job....

Anyhow i certainly agree....They need to Put alot of thought and testing into an emire spec air before they even leak it to us
