Memory Question

Is it bad to have one stick of 512 RAM and one of 256 running equalling 768 of total RAM.

Just wondering.

If so, if i bought another 512 stick and ditched the 256 equaling a gig 24 would that make things flow smoother.

My framerate sucks in major battles but usually runs ok otherwise hovering around 60fps

if you're on an AMD rig, it will be just like buying 256 more ram, but if it's an intel, that's a major increase in performance.

Good choice. Now remember, first time you play PlanetSide with 1 gig of RAM, be sure to maintain a FIRM grip on your socks, because 1 gig will blow you away.
