im thinking of getting a sound card. i dont wanna spend more than $70. are there even any cards under $70 that are worth getting or should i just save up for a good one.

For 30 or so, you can get a Sound Blaster Live 5.1. Great Card.

... I would suggest the Audigy 2 CZ. It is pretty much the best sound card out there right now, so I've heard.

I agree with Electro, the Audigy 2 ZS is the best. Newegg is selling it for $72.

That said, however, the A 2 ZS is 6.1.

If your just needing 5.1 then I suggest getting a Live 5.1 as Bio suggested for under $30.

the ZS is 7.1 Vitter, i have one and it owns espicealy with EAX4.0 HD on, you can get those for $70 if you find a place with a rebate or here(ok its 80) http://www.buyxtremegear.com/audigyzs.html
