Thunderbirds: A TV series made in the UK (I think), that takes place in the 21st century. They are an actual family who is really rich and rescues people. The people are all marionettes, and the machines they use, if you look hard, often have common household machines onto them. I once saw the inside of a hangar with a juice squeezer glued inside of it for a machanical look.
Overall, very corny, but cool nonetheless. |

WTF, anime got to Thunderbirds too. The marionette version > anime version.
