Proxy Settings

Ok... so to get on IRC at work I need to connect to Trillian by using a proxy... however I do no know how to set that up... is there anyway someone can help me maybe...

Do you know the proxy address for your work?

check under the proxy section to get the IP, you should be able to put that in the settings/tools tab or something like that.

EDIT: Hmmm... I know what my host is... I just don't know the port... damnit... IRC withdrawl, can't go on...

Try 6667, and if that dont work, try 80 and 8080.

Update: I know the port is 8080... I checked that in my internet settings... and thats its an http proxy... I just dont know the address it gives me http://206.189.1 but it doesn't let me see the rest of it...

They might have blocked the port. Give it up. Do some work. Now.
