Someone i'm talking to thinks this shit is 2x or more better than "normal" RAM, I think he got ripped of, I know approx. Jack and Shit about RAM, anyone here wanna tell me if this shit is worht the price?

Unless he's into overclocking, 533mhz RAM is overkill. I guarantee that if he puts that ram up against mine running the same CPU and all at default, he'll see a little boost in performance.

BTW: 2800+ Barton w/ 1024mb DDR PC 2700 Ram.

Yeah, the performance difference between that and their standard hyperx is minimal, but it can overclock much better.

I would never pay that much for such a small performance increase, money could have been invested into much more worthwile areas.
