get an Asus P4P800-Deluxe it's just as good as the P4C but with a different chipset an $50 cheaper, the performance hit will be negligible(like .1 planetside FPS)
Its hard to take money off, it is so sweet as is, i suppose you could go down to a 2.6 ghz

Only real way I can see you getting it cheaper is to buy used. You ofcourse take your chances when doing that, but if you buy from a fairly trustworthy site and people with good feedback your limited your exposure.
I recently bought a p4 2.8c and msi neo2 mb for $120 + $55 which clocks up rather nicely and works perfectly from AT forums. |

thats what i said but then i picked up a SB ZS and my atitude has changed, though the onboard on the Mobo is not that bad
