I'm trying to watcha DVD on my computer but it's not loud enough to hear it even through my Altec speakers blasting at full volume. It's pissing me off. Is there a program I can download that'll boost the volume at which DVD's play on the computer?

i'm not a computer retard. i have turned up ALL the available volume controls. i've tried everything i can possibly try on this computer. my question should have been: are there any programs available or players that make the DVD's play at a higher volume or the volume at which they'd play on your TV????
