Install Problem HELP

I just got Aftershock and I got to the third disk, the following happens. I get a "wrong volume in the drive" error and then a UE and windows closes the setup.exe. WTF.

Also, it deleted PS completely. Will I lose my characters and will my sub be canceled?

Subscription is tied to the Sony StationName account. That and PS character data is stored serverside - not clientside. So in short, No.

Now when I log in it doesn't recognize either expansions. wtf is going on.

Aftershock is not an expansion. It is PlanetSide and CoreCombat expansion combined into one package. If you already had PlanetSide and CoreCombat you don't need Aftershock.

could be you anti virise software, they do warn you to trun it off. It effected me, it would not load the 3'ed cd(planetside cd)

this sounds like an exciting problem for tech support, possibly involving greyflcn's handy DL utility.
