For a while I thought the Vanu Sovereignty was the weakest empire, and the TR stood all high and mighty. I decided to join the empire. I find the famous mcg a load of crap and join nc, find their weapons a load of crap too. im then really frustrated but i realise - none of its crap, i am

I got quite tired of the TR and their weapons, they just werent for me. I always liked the VS Lasher and all the futuristic themes of the empire but just couldn't get myself to have fun with the Lasher and the other empire specific weapons of the VS. I then turned my attention to the NC, with the Jackhammer at my side, I began to feel at home again. I know everyone says it's way easy and cheap but it is much harder than I expected. I have played with it extensively and it seems I get a constant 2-1 or 3-1 ratio without Med/Engy. With the MCG or Lasher, I could never keep those numbers up consistantly, so I made the choice and switched.

I use mcg and agile exclusively and i can manage a 2 to 1 or 3 to 1 kill ratio.

When people say the Jackhammer is cheap I just point at the VS weapons and mention they shoot rounds the size of basketballs.

A man who ejaculates themselves from this community is not a man at all :O! And a man who goes to sleep at 2am isnt either.. If ya'll ask me, empire balance isnt very nice, especially with HA weaponry. The Lasher is useless. In between short and medium range to be effective, kinda OK fire rate, just useless COF and useless dmg per single orb. The one good aspect - doors/hallway spamming. Take the MCG - when used correctly its long range, 3 seconds to kill someone . Take the Jackhammer. Ably one shot kills , if not 2 or 3. Short range, I admit, but perfect Hallway spammer.

What I have just written includes bias and exaguration, I know. And theres nothing you humans can do about it REHEHEHHEHEHEEHEHHE

You realize it is much easier to kill someone at close range with a lasher than with most weapons.

All the empires differant weapons will also when in differant situations. you probably are crap at all the empires but I can tell you that there really isn't one good empire.

In agreement with mechaman, all of the weapons have their strengths and weaknesses, and assuming you know your weapons strength and weakness, they are all relatively balanced.

Lasher is the easiest HA to use, but the JH is the most dangerous once you know how to use it.

MCG is a fine weapon, I like it (only HA I do), but it really is weakened against Personal Sheild.
