game crashes

nearly everytime i try to warp from one area to another i get a game lock up.
i already have updates for all drivers but about every other day i have to to a full scan and fix for planet side (aftershock expansion pack) i think this is the right forum for this if not let me know ill ill move it.

sys specs.
amd 64 3200+
2X mushkin dual 512 ddr400
m/b msi k8t neo fis2r
wd raptor 10000rpm 74g
asus/radeon 9800xt tvd 256mb

this is very common, there is a fix lurking here someware let me find it...

EDIT: acctualy the fix was adding 512 of ram to 256, and you shouldn't have that problem.

WOudl you run a program called MemTest and see if your memory has any errors for me, no linke you'll have to google.
