hover effects

Let's say an air vehicle is hovering above the water very closely will there be an splash effects or any type of wave effect. Im not sure about how the engines work so this may be a waste of time.

Yeah, actually the artists said they were working on that effect one day for flying vehicles. It was in the interview here: http://www.homelanfed.com/index.php?id=11588 he called it the "rooster tail"...heh
