Does windows store Favorites records in some back place that you can recall which favorites you had at one point, even after you have deleted them?
Does something store a record of them having been there or have a trace left of what the sites were? |

I think it only saves them in your current user profile under
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Favorites In my time working with windows I have never seen another backup type location. Aside of course from windows system restore if you know when you deleted the favorites. |

Yea, yesterday! 8)
Yea, i'm looking for anything that will give me a trace of what the sites were. I thought maybe the registry or something would have something left over from making the favorites. Then maybe i could artifically restore the folder. I thought i ran into something like that sometime ago. But i cant remember where it was. I'm guessing there are a few places in the XP i could find it. I just dont know where they are. I think i keep my system restore off at all times though.
