So there's this little game called Star Trek Online.. Trek's first trek.. so to speak into mmo's. Its still a little while off but everything so far I have read has been amazing. Yes, I am a trekkie. Always have been - if you aren't then don't come in here spamming OMG STAR WARS IS WIN!!11

It's the only RPG I will ever consider playing again.. In fact I may login to this game and never leave it.

A new article with the very first tech demo screens just came out.. and I think I finished.

those screens are amazing. This could be something I might get into. I've never been a huge trekie but I've watched my far share of the show and played other Star Trek games.

Nah seriously though, loved ST:TNG and ST:DS9. I'll definately be checking it out. :)

Edit- it's wierd... the in-game shots look better than the shots of the set... O_O

Yea I was thinking the same thing

I'm sure the final game won't come out exactly as pictured in those shots but even if it's close I will be floored.

I'm trying not to get to excited about it since the game is still a ways off and as with all games could be delayed. And someone already started up a fansite for it.

But to be honest moderating a forum with a bunch of rabid trekkies all debating weather or not the LCARS panel is placed in the exact location it was in episode 120 of TNG could make me or anyone go insane.

Those renders look absolutely amazing! Being a long time trekker I would be setting up permanent quarters on the first available ship when this game comes out!

I've also been looking forward to this one. I'm hoping it'll be a good team oriented game. When it does come out in a few years I would definately want some online buds to crew up with!

I've been waiting for this one patiently... Reads like it'll be fun.

I thought I read somewhere that if there isn't enough people to crew a ship, it'll fill the position with an NPC so you're not undermanned. That'll be a bonus for those late night players who can't always be on when the rest of your clan/guild are.
