Empire choice on Emerald

I like the idea of VS.(technophile) the most so thats what I play.

I perfer TR on Emerald although i never play, half because I didn't get to claim my name in the beginning (I have BUGGER (-k or -J from alt servers) on every server for every empire except on Emerald....and that Bugger doesn't even play )

VS is ok if you advance mainly in heavier weapons and vehicles (Lasher, Magrider). Crap Medium weapons, decent HA, and back down to relativly dull MAX AI weapons. Only good about the Lasher is that you can run back and forth and still get some splash damage. Choose what you like, get on with life.

TR basically upgrades its stuff. Cycler to Minichaingun, Minichaingun to MAX Dual Cyclers. TR is basically sit down and AIM. You are going to get no shots in if you run around with a Cycler or MAXDC, sit your ass down and hit him. TR AV sucks balls, Maurder can be a beast if used correctly (never is), and the Prowler is teamwork.. AA is ok in my opinion. Key is aim.

Basically choose what you are better at. If you can hit a moving target, go TR for a challenge. If you like to know you are atleast brushing up against him go VS.

I'm looking into joining the VS when I start playing. I only started looking at PlanetSide because my friend told me that this would hold me over while I'm waiting for the release of an MMO Halo game. The weapons from the other two armies seem to similar too those from Halo for me, so I'm probably going to the VS to provide a change of pace......

TR is the greatest empire. It's weak first look is just a disguise until it ANIHILATES YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

VS are ugly, inconsistent, and also not very good looking. TR has a nerdy helmet too but that's about it. NC are cool all the way.

TR is no challenge. No empire is a challenge. I do recommend Tr though, the MCG is very fun and so is the Striker. Excellent weapons.
