Destroyable shields

What would you guys think about destroyable shields on those bases you have to capture to turn off shields for capitals.I thought this up because i would lov to see tanks and reavers bombarding shields.This would be another part of base strikes because you'd have to have strikes come in before you can attack.

i don't think we have the pop for that. What if it's 4 am and you wanna take a capitol but have to waste a bunch of time tryna take down the shield to capture it? I think when the pop get's revitalized (if it ever does), this idea might have a better place but for now

Were the defensive force domes never implemented?

Yea those are in - but you can't "destroy" them per say have to capture surrounding bases.

What ever happened to the whole thing of draining the sheilds by using an ANT?

I'm not sure - there was a reason they removed it but I don't recall what it was.
