At the same time, something has got to give eventually. Its the hard brutal truth of it. I'd be much happier with Israel taking away Iran's ability to make nuclear war then I would with Iran being able to start all out nuclear holocaust.

If something is gonna give eventually, thats how I'd rather it happen.

Seriously, lets not be idiots here. Why would Israel strike nuclear weapons facilities with nuclear weapons?! If they were going to do such a thing, it would much more likely be with conventional warheads, NOT nuclear weapons. Israel would end up under even more scrutiny from the UN than Iran is now.

Secondly, the UN already has the pressure on Iran, and Israel wouldn't risk losing their seat on the UN council by disrupting the UN's plan with a nuclear strike of their own. IN ADDITION, there is no ACTUAL proof that Iran is enriching uranium for nuclear weapons development. Yes, the president is crazy, but at the same time, he's got half the world watching him. If he DID launch a nuke, Iran would be turned into a parking lot. He may be crazy but he's not stupid. He saw what happened to Iraq, and that was just because our dumbass president told us Saddam had WMD!

In addition, saying that we should nuke someone we accuse of attempting to build nukes is totally hypocritical. That kind of action would only turn up the heat even further on the crisis in the middle east. Yes the guy is a fascist whacko, but dropping nukes on his country because we don't want him building nukes is absolutely ridiculous. Doing such a thing would probably just feed terrorist propaganda.

So, use your brains people. Of course Israel isn't going to nuke Iran. Are they training their pilots to fly the distance to the targets in Iran? I wouldn't be surprised. To drop nukes? Most likely not. The military likes to cover every single possible "IF". IF Iran turns out to be trying to build nukes, and IF there is sufficient evidence that they've almost completed a bomb (which is predicted to take them over 2 years at the rate they're enriching uranium), and IF they refuse to disarm, and IF the UN determines that they're not getting anywhere with sanctions, Israel MIGHT POSSIBLY be in a position to POTENTIALLY have to strike those locations there the uranium enrichment is taking place, assuming there is proof also that those locations are the ones responsible and that the enrichment isn't actually being done at a secret facility.

Bah, if everyone just soaks up what the media regurgitates and believes everything instead of using some common sense, we end up in the middle of wars that were started through misleading information and media frenzy, and only after using our brains do we discover what a screwed up situation we've got ourselves into. Can anyone make a guess as to what I'm referring to?
