EVE Trial -- HELP!

So I just started the game, and am very confused as what I should be doing.

There are so many different things to pick at the beginning, any help would be appreciated.. <3

First of all, drop into the PSU ingame channel.

Second, figure out what the skills you have do.

Third, figure out a general idea of what you want to be doing in 1, 3, 6, 12, and 24+ monthes. That will help you plan things out.

I want to mine things. What kinda character do I make?

Industrialist.

Mining barges, industrial ships, Freighters, and lots of building skills.

Caldari, actually.

I went the prospector path so I have alot of those types of skills.

Working on buying a frigate atm.

I might log in tomorrow... just go through all the tutorials, and ask questions of ppl in the PSU channel, or the newbie corp channel if you have to. Most people are pretty helpful.

Yea, its pretty fun so far.

I have a Condor and Bantam.

Condors are fast, get an afterburner fitted on that thing as soon as possible to make the most of its speed

Slap on a few long-range missiles and turrets, and out-range your enemies by orbiting at least 15km away, and you'll find that you'll have to do very little in terms of tanking.
