One of the posters over at the official forums posted a question about the core combat release, and when it will be available to users. This is what Sporkfire had to say on the issue:

The servers will be up Monday for those few people who are able to score a copy that day, but most won't begin piling in until Tuesday morning.

This expansion should make bases even more important, can't wait for it to go live! And thanks to TheRagingGerbil for digging up this newsbit ;)
