So i've been playing Planetside on my brothers computer because he plays the game as well. Well recently hes been like "OMFGZ WOW IS TEH SHITZ1010101one." Anyway I wanted to get Planetside for my computer, no big deal. Since I origionaly download the game from the key giveaway thats been happening the past few months I went to that link and downloaded it from there again but just on my comp instead of my brothers. All was going well, it downloaded fine, installed fine, I logged into my account (no longer in trail period so im paying now) and the BIG patch started to download.
I was like CRAP I forgot about this, oh well no big deal i'll leave this up and play later. Well my computer has a problem with downloading things for a while, it will restart (not sure if it has to do with file size or what) But after a little bit of downloading my computer would restart, causing me to have to start the patch download over. I really want to be able to play Planetside on my comp rather than wait for my brother to finish with his parties or quests in WoW to be able to play.
So my question is, Is there anyway to get the big patch (i'm guessing I need all the patch(es) after the Planetside version I have) on to my computer without downloading it from the Planetside lobby? How big is the patch(es)?
could it possibly fit on a flashdrive maybe? Please help, I miss this game
