News: PlanetSide 2 on PC Gamer UK cover

Haven't seen the cover of PC Gamer UK yet but on the new podcast the editor team is talking about it. Magazine should be available to subscribers about now or so and next week in shops.

The podcast doesn't reveal much new though, here's hoping that the article itself is more revealing.

PCG UK did a 4-page preview article on PS2 in their last edition as well (with the new screenshots which got released later on by SOE). A new cover feature like this probably has more exclusive goodies I reckon'...

Question is what issue will it be on the cover of.. they have December posted on their blog already - January perhaps? Do UK PCGamer and US PCGamer differ or are they the same mag?

PC Gamer UK and PC Gamer US are different (though they sometimes share articles) and release at different times.

The PS2 cover issue of PCG UK would be their December issue (and is not yet revealed on their site). PC Gamer US infamously lives a bit more in the future with their editions. It's a bit clearer if you check this part on their website. The PS2 cover preview is done by the UK guys though, they flew to SOE (there is some evidence of this on Twitter).

Also of note, PCG UK really got into the first game.

Indeed. Im pretty sure some of those PC gamer guys lurk here every now and then. They should speak up already!

Oooh, this is all very promising news

And yes, while our appetites for Planetside 2 information are effectively BOTTOMLESS, is anyone besides me REALLLLY happy when we take a step back and realize that SOME form of video game news for Planetside 2 is coming out like, literally every 5 days or so? That is FANTASTIC.

Unless it depicted one MAX standing with one foot propped on a dead MAX, then I think this may not have been that issue.

If the podcast folks' depiction was correct, then I can't wait to see it!

That was the previous issue (with Skyrim on the cover), a preview which we already saw.

But maybe I'll pick up the PC Gamer UK if I can find the issue in the stores somewhere.
